CIV 3 FACTS

Civ III appeared in 2001, to the delight of fans. Soon a new Civilization was installed on hundreds of thousands of computers around the world.  Every true fan at first tried to beat the machine, but it was often difficult, especially at higher levels.  Like  the other Civilization games, Civ III has a lot of cheats and tips for the game.  Some of cheat codes for Civilization III are very simple, while some needed changes to the file.

Cheats for civilization 3

The simplest cheats for civilization 3 are for taking the wealth of the 100,000 gold coins. To achieve this, while giving the names of rulers at the beginning of the game, type: “Leemur”. You will get 100 000 gold coins immediately.
Another tip work in negotiations with other civilizations. During negotiations with other civilization, when other player wants one of your resources ask for it millions of gold. This will gain enormous wealth to you. When you have a great wealth, things become easier in Civilization III: You can speed up research and technology,  you can construct many new buildings and purchase new modern military units.
Also a good trick is to declare war on any of the neighbors. Now you need to defend a few turns (enemy will not want to talk with you so much), and then offer them peace. Now go to their panel and enter in the field GOLD PER TURN arbitrary number. Voila! You will become suddenly wealthy.
If you want to discover the whole map, you will do this easily. At the start of the game, save your position and in the file name put the word “multi”. Immediately load this saved game and you will reveal all map with all  resources and luxuries. No need to mention how important it is to see where are the resources and take them before the other competitors.

If you want to speed up the moves of other players, you can do this in two ways. The first is to turn off Animate/show our/friendly/enemy moves. Another is to hold down SHIFT during the moves of other players.

Another cheat code for Civilization III don’t work on all versions of the CIV III. Try to found file “script.slc” – it should be placed in folder   ”\ctp_data\default\gamedata”. Firstly, backup file before any change and then open it with Notepad and add lines:

Save the changes and start the game. You will be very rich.
